What does a heart attack feel like?

Everyone - not just people with heart problems needs to know the answer to this one. Among the most common symptoms is pain, pressure or a sense of fullness under the breast bone that lasts two minutes or more.

Men often say it like having a horse on my chest, women typically experience a milder pain. The sensation may radiate to the shoulders, neck, jaw, back or arms but it may not. Men tend to have sharp pain in their arms and shoulders. Dizziness, sweating, nausea and shortness of breath may also occur.
